I think this is done...

I was thrilled back in the day when Jake made the first website for me. I could share my poetry, my songs and my occasional insightful thoughts. But, recently, I realized all we were sharing is mundane tasks and what i made for dinner that day.

So, I am thinking on January 1, 2010, I will shut this damn thing down. Now I haven't had any lessening of viewers (according to Stat Seeker) but, I feel this is no longer the representation of what I am. And, as such, I think this is done and I should shut it down.

Unless I get an overwhelming response, I think this is it and I appreciate all the love and grins I got over the past ten years. I love you guys, but I'm tired now and I think we should call it good.

  1. Dad, This is how I keep in touch with you so if you decide that you don't do your blog anymore I guess I wont know whats going on with you. Try to have a good day.

  2. @Amy - It's my fault. I made the mistake of challenging Dad to a blog traffic contest in 2010. He folded under the pressure.

    I kid, I kid.

@Dad - Like Amy, about the only way I keep up with you is this blog. I understand the daily format is trying and time consuming. Perhaps switching to a bi-weekly summary would be easier?

  3. Noooooo, you have to stay visible! Do you even realize how many meal ideas I get from you? And your successful accomplishments of your "to do" list are an inspiration to me on my "I don't feel like doing anything days." I look at what you've done and then kick my butt into gear! Please don't go away... :(

p.s. Sorry, I sent your Birthday card too early (I thought I was scheduling it, and hit send instead) but, Happy Belated Birthday, (I still won't forgive you for the "frog legs" we had to eat because Mom was in the hospital with you), and Merry Christmas!

  5. Thanks everyone! With your kind of support, I guess I'll keep plugging away at this after all.
