Wanker! My second remembrance......

BTW, Jake reminded me of this; apparently its one of his favorite memories.

For some reason, I had to meet with a international software company (I think maybe they converted training programs to CD's or something). I was all dressed up in my best suit. I was feeling cool. During the meeting four of the five people left the conference room to get something and left me alone with a very attractive English woman.

Now the week before, Jake had convinced me to watch "Train Spotting" (an English film. If you've seen it you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't, don't!)

Anyway, to make small talk, I mentioned watching the film and said to her, "The one thing I didn't understand was why everyone called each other a "wanker." What does that mean?"

She blushed a deep red and then finally said, "Well, that means somebody who masturbates."

That was the end of our small talk.
