A Few Remaining Saturday Details

No, I didn't have any breakfast or lunch. I did have two cups of instant coffee (I wanted to keep the pot clean for my guests) in the morning, for motivation.

It was supposed to rain in the afternoon, but when I went to the market, it was cool, and sunny! It did cloud up later, but as late as 9:00 PM, still no rain.

At some point in the night, though, when I got up for a bathroom break, I noticed the road was wet and shiny. I don't know what time, because I try not to look at the clock during these events (it only feeds my insomnia).

As far as the rest of the evening goes, I watched (for the second time ever) the movie, Lawrence of Arabia. The first time I saw it, I was in 10th grade (I think) and the nuns marched the whole high school (all 100 of us) two blocks over to the New Baltimore theater. I must say, the sweeping views of the desert on the silver screen were NOT matched on my 20-inch TV.

I warmed up a burger and ate it sans bun with just some A1 sauce. If I had been in a better mood, I would have sauteed some onions for a topping. But, I ate it plain and it was boring...

I went to bed when the movie ended at midnight.
