Back to the Sweat Shop

I checked the gauge on Monday morning and found I'd picked up just over a half inch of rain on Sunday. It was uncomfortably hot and muggy on Monday. It was only a high of 83 degrees F. here, but the humidity was awful.

So, I didn't run any errands at lunch, just went straight home. Unfortunately, I had a 2:00 PM meeting down in one of our buildings in Allen Park and some of the meeting involved touring the non-air conditioned garages.

I still hadn't gotten a call regarding my car, so I went home after work and gratefully got out of my damp clothes.

I damn sure didn't want to go outside, so I stayed in and read my book. I just ate leftovers for my supper and went to bed early. I did watch a taped Agatha Christe movie on PBS, but still went to bed before 10:00 PM. All this reading is wearing me out, LOL!
