I did switch out the kitty litter and got the old litter out to the roadside before 7:00 AM (I took the other bag of garbage out Monday night).

When I got home at 5:05 PM, I treated the cats, changed clothes and went outside. It may rain tonight after 6:00 PM, so I have got to get some stuff done, quick!

First, I watered all the container gardens (the mailbox garden, especially, was really drooping). Then I grabbed the Velcro tape and tied up more of the tomato plants.

Next, I went out back and trimmed the bushes along the wall to (well) wall height. I tossed the branches (some quite thick) onto the lawn to dry out. I like only the flowering plum to be higher than the wall

Then I got the line trimmer and started to clean off the patio (grass and other weeds grow up through the cracks). Dammit! The line ran out! I filled in the line (it's a pain) and finished up the patio. Then I got the blower and blew the crap off into the lawn.

Back inside at 6:45 PM, I opened the mail. It was the usual crap, except one from the Michigan Department of Treasury. It informed me that my 2006 Michigan State tax form was wrong. I took off the money I'd pulled from my 401K to put the down payment on this house (they said I could do that). But, now, they are claiming it was income and I owe them another $975.00 dollars! Now I gotta deal with this!!! The hits just keep on coming...

BTW, I hit the tarragon with the line trimmer and splattered it on my legs. Now, all I smell is tarragon. My God! I am so tired of all this crap!

I warmed up the rest of the Chop Suey for dinner. I was going to make another serving of rice, but decided that was too much trouble.

It did rain at some point (I saw it on the patio cement) but it certainly wasn't a "thunderstorm" as I never heard it.
