Chilly Wednesday

It was cold here when I woke up on Wednesday (49 degrees F.) I got the trash out to the road and hit the road, arriving at work at 7:10 AM.

I had meetings for most of the day and, going in and out of buildings, wished I'd worn a jacket.

When I got home at 5:15, it was only 66 degrees according to my outdoor thermometer and the furnace was on. I think it's a little early for this crap!

I did maintenance for a while (emptying the dishwasher, folding clothes, etc.) then I sat on the couch. I made a couple of calls, but only got voicemails. I switched from reaching out to reading the rest of that magazine I got the other day.

At 7:00 PM, I made my supper. I warmed up some of the turkey slices and mashed potatoes. I ran into some problems here, as I'd sliced the turkey rather thin (for sandwiches) so I ended up with too hot turkey and too cool potatoes. Next time I'll do potatoes first, and then add the turkey. I sliced up a tomato and added it to the plate, then went in to watch some taped TV until 10:00 PM.

I switched to the latest Top Chef at that point, watched it until 11:00 PM and then went to bed.
