Well, it did rain overnight (I heard it on the windows during the night). The rain gauge has been inside for a while, so I can’t tell you exactly how much. It had slackened down to a drizzle when I left for work, though. It stayed damp and drizzly (but warm) all day. We go into the icebox tonight for the rest of the week (hell, who am I kidding? For the rest of the winter).
When I got home after work, I took care of a myriad of chores that I’d put on hold to finish up outside. I filed bill receipts, put my bike title in the fireproof box, vacuumed cat hair out of the bedrooms, got the leftover potato soup into the freezer, etc.
I stopped at 8:00 PM and reheated my chicken dinner leftovers (I think I still have one meal left, there). I ate that watching TV and then went to bed at 10:30 PM.
