Friday was another warm and windy day. But it’s all supposed to go bad on Saturday.
I had a meeting at 8:30 AM in Livonia, so I didn’t go to my building in Farmington. I went to my old building first and checked out the construction and the personnel moves first and then went to the meeting.
It lasted until 11:00 AM without a break! Groan...
At lunch, I swung by Westborn to pick up some stuff I needed. I made an impulse buy of another container of Brussels sprouts.
Back at home, I returned my daughter Melissa’s call, but only got her voicemail. I changed clothes and resumed cleaning. I got all the glass surfaces in the bedroom cleaned while watching the news. They are still predicting cold temps on Saturday, followed by a “wintry mix” on Sunday through Monday.
I checked my email and started the weekly Website backup.
After the NBC Nightly News was over, I cooked up the Brussels sprouts. I cut off the stems, peeled of the first few layers, cut them in half and boiled them until fork tender. I ate about half with butter and salt for dinner, reading my book.
I switched to TV for a while and, about 10:00 PM, ate the rest for a late night snack. Then I went to bed.
