Wet Wednesday

It was raining on the way into work (what else is new?) So far in Michigan, we have been spared severe flooding and tornados, so I guess I should be grateful. But my front lawn is now way too long and needs to be mowed.

I had to stop first thing again at Building 50 to let some wiring contractors in. Then I went up to my building (#73) in Farmington. I went back home at lunch and ate the other hamburger steak. Then I went back to Building 50 to see how my guys were doing. They were just finishing up. So, I went back to Building 73. I left there at 3:30 and went to Building 3 to pick up some cell phones and then back to Building 50 to check the finished wiring work.

Back at home, I went to install my new head light. Much like on left side, I got one clip installed, but not the other. I finally gave up and called it good. But, I decided I need to adjust the low beam. I finally figured out how it worked and then cranked it down. But, just about when it was right, the plastic thingie snapped off. Dammit!

I tried to reattach it, but no luck. I don’t know if when I hit a bump or something it will go back up, but for now its right. I jammed a paper towel into the hole left from where it broke off and called it good.

My friend B__ called about 7:00 PM and we caught up. Then I sautéed a diced yellow onion and warmed up a can of roast beef hash for dinner.

I ate that watching “Rooster Cogburn” (the follow-up movie from True Grit) until 10:00 PM and then went to bed.

  1. I like the look of your blog now, it is just so you.. I also read back a bit and saw your post about poached eggs. I just read Amanda's Bon Appetit and that very tip was in there and I was awaiting breakfast to give it a go tomorrow. And then realized we are out of eggs :( so it'll have to wait 'til the weekend... but glad to see a testimonial lol.

  3. @ Hannah: Re: Blog background. I should have pointed out that it was the Webmaster that picked it out.
