The Weekend

I waited as long as I could on Saturday, hoping more of the lawn would dry out, but finally cut most of the back yard with the lawn tractor. (I avoided standing water areas). So, it looks better, but still not good. While I was waiting, I did three loads of laundry.

I ate some potato soup for dinner, watched a movie and went to bed.

Sunday, I made a pot of coffee. I had a couple of cups and then got cleaned up. My daughter Melissa called around noon and we chatted for a while (okay, a long while). I had thawed out a pound of hamburger and mixed that with a can of Manwhich. I ate two of them on the last two torpedo buns.

Most of my typical Sunday night shows were not on. So, I watched another movie (probably the cheesiest Charles Bronson movie ever: The White Buffalo). Yeah, it was lame, but I liked it.

Then I went to bed.
