It was some Zen sh*t

I don't remember who taught me this (or why) but it had something to do with Zen concentration. It was back in my mid-twenties but here was the theory:

You placed one quarter on the bottom of your hand and one on your palm next to your fingers. Then you tossed them up in the air and tried to grab them one at a time with the same hand.

I got so good at this I could do it with either my left hand or right, every time.

When I thought about it tonight, I tried it and couldn't catch even one.

I guess 40 years has taken it toll.

  2. I guess I don't "coordinate" these days as I used to. Hmmm... thinking about it I don't even coordinate my shirt and pants for work as well as I used to.
