Can anyone enlighten me on the difference between an "Urgent Care" facility and a hospital's emergency room? I drive past an Urgent Care place every now and then and, when I do, I always wonder what that means.
Stuff that requires immediate attention but not the facilities of an ER (i.e. not life threatening). The nice part is it's usually a lot faster and cheaper (even with insurance - I believe BCBS counts it as a normal doctor appointment instead of tacking on ER fee).
