Thanks to the Detroit Tigers game, I overslept Monday morning, with the alarm going off for 30 minutes. Which was bad, as I had to leave early. While I was on vacation, my doctor sent a script for some blood work she will need done before my next appointment and I had to get it done today.
So, I had to hustle. Not eating breakfast helped (I have to fast for the test) but not by much. I did manage to get my blood drawn and still got to work 20 minutes early, though.
I guess being down south thinned my blood, y'all, because I was freezing during my morning walk!
I went to Best Buy at lunch to get a couple of things I needed and then stopped at Ten Yen on the way back for some Chicken subgum, won ton soup, egg roll and hot tea (I really needed the hot tea by the time I got there!)
I had to make myself go out for the afternoon walk and regretted every minute of it.
I did take the trash can out when I first arrived home after work, but was not positive it would still be upright and where I put it by the morning. Inside, I treated the cats and then treated myself to a hot cup of coffee.
I changed clothes and washed up the slow cooker insert (soaking since Sunday's supper). I watched the news until I was hungry (it went on for an extra half hour until 7:30 PM because of the hurricane).
For dinner, I warmed up the rest of the hamburger and bean mixture and again ate it with buttered bread.
The short, interrupted sleep I got Sunday night caught up with me. I fell asleep sometime around 9:00 PM. Of course, I woke up about 2:00 AM, wide awake, but I did manage to finally go back to sleep again.
