A Blustery Day

Well, I slept lousy Sunday night, so I woke up late Monday morning. I had to hustle, but luckily, it was still warm, so I didn’t have to scrape the car windows.

I did take my morning walk outside, but the wind was fierce (we were under a High Wind Advisory all day).

At lunch, I went to Westborn and got some tomatoes, three apples and a container of chicken noodle soup. I had to leave the car outside and by then the temperature had begun to drop. So, before I went back to work, I moved the sawhorses and the table saw over so I could once again use my garage.

It was too miserable outside in the afternoon to walk (not just the wind, but it was snowing as well), so I did it inside.

When I got home again after work, I did park the car in the garage. Then I took the garbage can out to the road, and the box with my old headlight assembly that the Volvo dealership stuck in the car.

Inside, I treated the cats and then changed their kitty litter. I took the old kitty litter out to the road in a garbage bag.

Back inside for the night, I made a cup of coffee to warm up and watched the news.

When it ended, I warmed up the rest of the city chicken and the Brussels sprouts with bacon and ate that for dinner.

I watched a couple of taped DIY shows, but then went back to my book until bedtime.
