I heard on the news Friday morning that this is the 60-year anniversary of the Easter candy called "Peeps." You know, the little chicks made of marshmallow and covered with yellow sugar (well, it used to be just yellow, now they come in all colors).
They are my favorite Easter candy, but I know a lot of people dislike them. I think its just because they don't know how to eat them! You have to take the cellophane off and let them air out for about a week or so before consuming them. This gives them a little crunch.
Anyway, Happy Anniversary, Peeps!
