Rainy Days and Fridays

Note: One of the few nice things about all this rain is I don’t have to worry about a title for these posts, lol!

Friday’s weather was a repeat of Thursday. This time I wore my heavier coat, rather than the light rain coat. I learned my lesson Thursday! It was damp and cold out.

I need a mirror for the living room and wanted to go to a store in Canton at lunch. I sent the name and directions to work from home in the morning after researching its whereabouts Thursday night. At least I thought I sent it before work… But when I got to work, it wasn’t there! Did I forget to hit send? I dunno…

So instead, I went to Michael’s (near Home Depot) and found they don’t carry mirrors, then Marshall’s (in the same shopping center) and they had maybe three and none that would work. Disgusted, I gave up and went to Leo’s Coney Island for some lunch.

I had the Gyro Dinner (mini Greek salad, a gyro and rice with that spicy red sauce. I believe the rice dish is called domatorizo. It was delicious, but I couldn’t eat all the rice or the salad. Then I headed back to work, empty handed (but with a full stomach).

After work, I paid some bills on line and balanced my checkbook. Then I watched the news. I reheated the last of the chicken fried rice for dinner.

I watched the Red Wings game against Chicago. It was another heartbreaker. Then I went to bed.
