You may have noticed my Brother Carl's comment about not remembering the book(s). Puzzled, I emailed my Brother Joe. His response in part was "No I don't. The only jungle book I remember
(other than the Golden Book "Little Black Sambo" which I understand is
now considered racist) was the Phantom. I guess I was more interested
in the Hardy Boys and George's WWII fighter pilot books."
Weird! Did I make this up??? I'm sure I remember the jaguars and the Amazon jungle scenes...
You did have a very active Imagination if I remember right.
