They are going to celebrate the reopening of my stretch of I-96 next week by letting people walk, skateboard, run and/or bike on it today. Fred at work is going to take part in a 5k run on it.
Its a good idea and reminds me of when we walked the bridge when they opened the second span of the Blue Water bridge up in Port Huron.
