Sidebar: unless you know John Stewart (and nobody does) you
won’t get that reference.
Wednesday was a perfect Michigan summer day.
I woke up late (I shut off the alarm and went back to sleep
after a restless night) and had to hustle, but I got there.
I took Vicky out to lunch to pay her back for setting up my
laptop. She wanted to go to Time Out for the fish and chips. I got the chicken
quesadillas and ate most of it (they are huge (of course).
We got out of there at 12:30 p.m., so I drove her through
Rosedale Gardens. She’s a fellow house freak, so she loved it!
I wlked outside both times, but in the afternoon, the
humidity had ratcheted up.
I got home after work and changed clothes. Caley had barfed
on the bed sheet, so I added that to the Wednesday wash.
I went out and watered all the container gardens.
When I was out back, I noticed one of the tomato plants didn’t
look so good. I think its insects, so I dusted all of them with Sevin.
One of the advantages of taking Vicky to lunch is she
usually gives me the lunch she brought in from home. This time it was rice,
shrimp and plantains. So, I warmed that up for dinner. It was excellent.
I watched taped TV until 9:30 p.m. and went to bed.
More than anyone I've ever known...gone tell me I don't know music...no sir! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL! Of course you would know that song. I love it. Reminds me of Cathy's little sister who's now older than I even like to think about.
ReplyDeleteI get the reference! Nice try. Jon Stewart's son, Nathan, was born in July. Jon's wife had wanted a daughter, so there was some tension in the delivery room. Kind of like this:
