Tuesday

It was a cold, wet, miserable day on Tuesday. I took the trash out in a misty rain and then drove through it to work.

My friend Michelle brought me some Tuscan bean soup that you are supposed to eat at room temperature. Thanks!

I made myself walk outside both times, but I didn’t like it.

I got a BLT and fries for lunch. I beat the rain back to work. But it did rain a couple of times during the afternoon.

So, when I got home, I checked the gauge. I got a total of a half inch of rain. So, I didn't have to water.

Since I was outside anyway, I checked the garden. I got five more Italian tomatoes and will have two more cukes in a week or so. I have plenty of blossoms on the summer squash and eggplants, but no fruit yet. I think both are a bust this year. But, the radishes and peas have sprouted.

They had a “lunch and learn” at work that I didn’t attend. But Vicky snagged me a box lunch from Jimmy Johns, so I ate a turkey sandwich and chips for my dinner. This one had jalapeno chips and they were excellent! I saved the cookie for breakfast.

I watched a rerun of NCIS and then went to bed.
