It was a little cooler on Wednesday morning. It had rained
overnight (there was water on the road) but not a lot (about 1/4 inch of rain
in the gauge). I took the trash out to the road before leaving for work.
I went to Time Out for lunch and got a grilled chicken
salad. It was too big, too much chicken, too much bacon, too much cheese and too
little lettuce.
Then I went to Kroger’s and bought the mum plant I admired
on Saturday.
When I got home, I retrieved the trash can and came inside.
I treated the cat and changed clothes. I went out to the shed and got the
wheelbarrow of dirt, a transfer shovel and my fiberglass planter.
Then I replanted the tri-color mum (not really, they just planted three mums: purple, golden brown and a bright yellow one). I had just enough dirt!
While I was at it, I switched the wreath (from spring to
fall) and hung up the harvest slate sign. I also got the broom and got rid of
all the spider webs.
Sidebar: I was embarrassed by them when Courtney came over.
For dinner, I just ate potato salad (it was starting to get watery).
I watched some TV, but turned it off at 9:00 p.m. I opened
the bedroom window (it supposed to get down in the 50’s tonight) and went to sleep.

The flowers are really pretty and it sounds like fall is coming to Michigan.
ReplyDelete@ Carla: Thanks, and yes, finally!!! I've had enough of sweaty summer heat.
ReplyDelete@GPF: Thanks.
Here, too. Low eighties for the foreseeable.
ReplyDeleteLOL! We're in the low 50's at night and 60's in the daytime.
