I woke up early on Monday and couldn't go back to sleep. So, I finally just got up and finished writing the Blog.
I checked the rain gauge (like I told you) and then got ready for work.
It was another warm, windy day. There was a possibility of rain after 3:00 p.m.
I went to Ten Yen and got the Almond chicken. I ate half of it and took the rest home for dinner.
I walked outside both times, but at 3:00 p.m. it started sprinkling. So, I went inside to get my truck keys (I had the windows cracked open) and warned everybody else.
Naturally it stopped and I left work in an overheated vehicle.
But, it sprinkled again on the way home.
I went out back after changing and watered the two hanging plants (I forgot to do that yesterday).
Then I went out front and moved one of the sweet alyssum (since I can't seem to find more) to balance out the mailbox garden.
Back inside, I warmed up the almond chicken (Note: This doesn't warm up well - crust turned soggy) and ate dinner watching the end of the news.
It did rain a little more, but nothing to write home about.
I stayed up to watch a show my daughter, Melissa, had told me about, "Houdini and Doyle." It was pretty good!
Then I went to bed at 10:00 p.m.
"Naturally it stopped and I left work in an overheated vehicle."
ReplyDeleteHave you tried those windshield reflectors? Everyone has one here and swears by them but I'm lazy and just park under trees.
No, I know people that have them. But I think they are cumbersome and would rather crack the windows (something I never see in SC.)
