Finally Friday

It was still raining on Friday. Still cold and windy as well. All of which sucked as my replacement lens came in. So, I had to drive up to Farmington to my eye doctor at lunch.

It seemed to take them a long time to switch them out. So, I sat thee, waiting a trying to find an interesting magazine.

I grabbed something to eat on the way back.

The afternoon passed slowly, as they always do when it's Friday and payday.

I was chilled when I got home, so I made another can of chili for my dinner. This time a added shredded sharp cheddar cheese and some hot sauce to it.

My daughter Melissa called and, as usual, we talked for a long time.

When we finally hung up, I read my book in bed until I started nodding off. So, I turned out the lights and went to bed.
