Monday, and back to it...

Monday morning and back to the daily grind. Today was mostly meetings at work. One offsite, one onsite and one teleconference. I was about worn out from driving, thinking and talking!

No rain today, but cloudy all day. I did check the rain gauge before leaving for work and I had almost one inch of rain over the weekend! I stopped at Meijer's on the way home to pick up four items I ran out of over the weekend.

When I got home, I took a walk out back before changing clothes. All the gardens out back are looking good and the compost in the sandbox has settled down nicely, with no visible low spots. I filled the bird feeder and went inside to change.

I called my brother Carl to get the name of the nursery he goes to down by the airport and to see if it's open yet (it is). He told me he's building an English garden in his front lawn and has had truckloads of dirt and rocks delivered. No wonder I haven't heard from him.

Lazy evening, really. Too damp to do anything outside and the house is spick and span inside. So, since tomorrow is garbage day, I cleaned out the fridge. For dinner I had the last of the Texas beans (I pity the fool who calls a meeting with me tomorrow!)

I watched a little TV, read a little, but was sound asleep by 10:00 PM.
