Rainy Days and Tuesdays

I waited all day for the predicted thunderstorms, but it only started around 4:00 PM. I was a little disappointed as it only was a light rain.

Once home, I changed clothes and took a look at last weekend's ToDo list at the inside items. I picked "wash the cabinet fronts." Those lathe strips I added to the door faces do give it a nice look, but provide a little ledge for dirt, spills, etc. So, I got out the 409 antibacterial cleaner and a kitchen towel and started in.

I finished up just before 7:00 and put everything away. I warmed up a plate of the Penne a la Carbonara and topped it with fresh Parmigiano-Reggiano. I ate it watching some TV, but after last night's late night hockey game, I was beat and went to sleep at 10:00 PM.

P.S. I went out Tuesday morning at 6:00 AM and checked the rain gauge. I got just over one inch of rain last night!!! So, no watering this week.
