Thursday

Well, after a particularly interesting Wednesday, Thursday was a bit of a let down.

I stayed home until Luanne left (thinking it was only polite) so I didn't get to work until about 9:30 AM. So, I worked through lunch to make it up (well, most of it).

I got home at 5:30 PM due to construction. I treated the cats and changed clothes.

I went out back and watered the arbor vitiae, the grass seed (which has sprouted, BTW) and the window box. Then I moved to the front and watered all the container gardens and the mail box garden. It gets warmer every day and there is no rain in the immediate forecast.

I put on my brace and went back to work on enlarging the hole for the root of that bush. My neighbor came over and offered to pull it out with a chain and his four by four "sometime." I told him if it was anytime soon, I'd be grateful, as I need to get the new bush in the ground.

I quit when I was just tired, but not yet sore. I got everything put away and locked up for the night and then went inside and took off my brace.

I ate the warmed up chicken subgum for dinner and watched TV for a little while until I dozed off. At the next bathroom break, I turned everything off and went to bed for real.
